Everyone notices the effort Craig puts in to get to the gym. Work means he might be a couple minutes late for class, but we love that it doesn’t stop him from coming and making the committed club pretty much every month. Watching his progress on skills like wall walks or mobility for front squats impresses us EVERY time. Not only have all of us coaches spoken about how deserving you are, other members have as well. Craig was nominated more than once for this month’s Member of the Month and we could agree more! Check out Craig’s story!

1. Why did you start CrossFit?

I worked out off and on for years but was ready for a group dynamic since it keeps things interesting and pushes you to do more. After listening to Bien talk (nonstop) about CrossFit I figured I would give it a try.


2. What advice would you give yourself before starting CrossFit?

I would say, be patient. Olympic lifts and gymnastics will show you how uncoordinated you are and take time to learn.

3. What are your nutrition goals for the next 6 months?

Hit my protein goals and eat less processed stuff.

4. How do you feel about burpees? Don’t hold back

Pretty sure burpees were invented as an ancient torture technique. But the stuff you hate to do is usually the stuff you need to work on the most.


5. What are you reading or watching right now? Would you recommend it?

I’m reading Scars and Stripes. It’s about a Green Beret turned MMA fighter. I think it’s good but it’s not for everyone lol.
